New Greentube slot:

Greentube bolsters U.S. presence; partners Rush Street Interactive for launch on PlaySugarHouse New Jersey

The content deal follows the release of Greentube’s latest Asain-themed slot title, Noble Peacock: Power Prizes, which features 243 ways to win, available on 5×3 reels. The high volatility game’s top prize is 10,000x the stake, while the RTP is 95.0 percent.

Landing at least 6 Gold Coins will earn you the Hold & Win style respins, which is one of the main features of the game. A fairly common mechanic, it involves 3 initial respins and the chance to reset that number whenever you land new Gold Coins. At the end of the feature, all of the Gold Coins that have been collected are totaled and you receive your prize. Filling all 15 positions with symbols, sees wins double in value.

RSI Louisiana sports betting:

Meanwhile, RSI announced Thursday that it will launch its BetRivers Sportsbook in Louisiana on Friday, January 28, 2022, and sports fans who are 21 and over in a permitted parish will be able to place bets from 8am Central Time.

Sports betting was passed by voters in the Pelican State in 56 out of 64 parishes in November 2020; one of three bills, HB697, passed through the state Legislature in early June, followed by Senate Bill 247 and Senate Bill 142 signed by Gov. John Bel Edwards on June 22, 2021.

The two bills call for a total of 20 sports betting licenses, each of which can have two skins attached. And while betting will be available in retail, online and mobile forms, it will not be permitted everywhere in the state. Sports betting will not be legal in the eight parishes that voted against it – Caldwell, Catahoula, Franklin, LaSalle, Sabine, Union, West Carroll and Winn.

In addition to BetRivers, five other sportsbooks have been approved in the state, including DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars and Betfred.

In-person sports betting has been legally offered in Louisiana since October 2021 when Betfred Sportsbook at Paragon Casino in Marksville took the state’s first legal wager.
